Dark Arts Carbon is light, lively and generates speed quickly, with lots of pop and spring.

The Dark Arts surfboards are hand crafted, vacuum bagged, 3K carbon fiber cloth, over 2lb EPS stringer-less foam blank, for optimum, flex, weight and durability. The traditional hot coat method is applied to the surfboards, then sanded and coated with a matte finish. Lastly, a 4oz regular cloth is used under carbon on the deck to minimize heavy denting. The surfboards can foot dent, but will outlast traditional construction.

As with any black surfboard, take special care regarding sun and heat. Always keep board in a day bag and out of direct sunlight.

Dings can be fixed with epoxy resin and traditional fiberglass.

Shipping, returns, and warranty policy

We ship all over the world.  If you don't find a rate for your area, please reach out and we can determine shipping costs.

Domestic Shipping

Dark Arts understands that getting your item quickly is important so we make every effort to process your order as fast as we can. Most orders placed Monday-Friday are processed within 2-5 business days. Delivery can be delayed by product availability, further order verification, address issues, and variable delivery conditions. Our warehouse is closed during the weekend and on all major holidays; orders will not ship on those dates.

For custom orders please allow 6-8 weeks for production prior to shipping

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in San Diego, CA.

Domestic Standard Shipping:
This shipping method takes 4-6 business days via FedEx Ground

Domestic Standard Shipping (Hawaii):

This shipping method takes 7-10 business days via Ocean Freight. Local trucking to final destination or pickup is available once the item has landed at port.

International Standard Shipping:
This shipping method takes 3-5 business days via DHL Express 

Return Policy – Paid Return Label

Dark Arts accepts returns or exchanges within the first 30 days of the online purchase date. If you're not completely satisfied with your order in that time frame, you can email orders@darkartssurf.com to request a paid return label for domestic orders. You must also fill out the return/exchange form below and ship it back with the surfboard.

Your order must be returned in its original packaging and with all its complementary accessories. Your product must also be returned in the same condition it was received and we do reserve the right to deny a return or proportionately reduce the level of the refund based on the condition or scenario its attempting to be returned in. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

For custom orders we do not allow returns.

Warranty Policy
Dark Arts offers a one year warranty from the time of purchase. The warranty is limited to manufacturer’s defects or issues that are a result from a flaw in the product. If you feel your product meets these requirements, please email orders@darkartssurf.com with an explanation of the issue, photos of your product, and your order information.

Dents and similar physical damages that are caused through wear and tear are not covered by the warranty. We do intend to sell repair kits at a future date. Feel free to contact us at orders@darkartssurf.com for advice on handling repairs if needed.
