The AJW Classic “Twin” has a slightly pulled in tail + a dash of extra belly rocker to be ridden a bit more critical than your standard extra wide keel fin.  With our tad of extra belly rocker, you can ride this board in slightly bigger waves as well as in the small stuff yet it will still fit in the power source of the wave. This board likes to surfed fast.

In early 2019,  Album started working on prototypes for their soft top program. They wanted to make a board sub 5’0” that could carry volume but still be a ripper. They made a 4’10” chunky little thing that was a little over 30 liters, with a fishy rocker, twin-fin setup, and a wild double-barrel bonzer-style deep-channel concave running almost the full length of the bottom of the board. Album gave it to Asher and Josh to test. The results were remarkable. It was the first Album board Asher rode and within two sessions the guys had already stacked internet-breaking clips on a first-draft prototype. So it went off to create the mold for the Seaskate soft top, but they knew they had to make a model out of it. Ride it a little shorter and thicker than a Sunstone. It packs a lot of volume, but don’t be afraid to ride it 3-5 liters more than your shortboard.

The Plasmic is a limited and numbered run of 100.

The Sunstone is the foundation of Asher Pacey's quiver, a baseline twin-fin fish for everyday surf and travel. This is the purest form of a classic fish that we make, an ode to Southern California.  It has traditional fish roots that have been refined to perform and feel more alive. It has elements from our long-running UTF model, but with a new outline and a more pronounced vee off the exit, along with a little more double-concave under the back foot. Great paddler and gets up to speed right away. Ride it with keel fins or more of an upright twin template depending on where you're surfing. Size it 3-4 Liters above your performance shortboard.

The name "Vesper" derives from the family of micro bats called "Vespertilionidae," Which Margo has spent years observing and collecting data on. This bat family is known as one of the most diverse and versatile families of bats. Specialised in many forms to occupy a range of habitats, much like the board Matt and Margo developed.One of the most user-friendly boards Matt has ever made. Gets up to speed faster and with less effort than any other model. The extra foam packed in makes for effortless wave catching and continued flow throughout the wave. Similar to the Plasmic, the deep double-barrel concave generates speed and creates lift off the back foot, while providing grip through your turns.
