The Aipa brothers, using their fathers Sting as a blueprint, came together for the first time ever and designed the DNA (for Duke-N-Akila). 

The DNA is an Alternative High Performance Shortboard with an enhanced forward surface area for carrying speed, spliced together with an abruptly reduced tail curve for maintaining positive control and maneuverability. 

Developed to provide an accelerated shortboard type experience, this quad specific model has the down the line flow/speed of a fish, versatility and drive of a groveler with a quick pivot response.

Ideal in shoulder to overhead conditions. Sized to be surfed  1-2” shorter than your standard shortboard and increasing the width and thickness to achieve a volume by .5L to1L greater than your daily driver.

The HITMAN is AIPA's lively HP/groveler hybrid answer to the industry's standard performance shortboard.

With the ever shifting surf landscape of Huntington Beach in mind, the Hitman is designed to be responsive in small to average sized shore break situations with the ability to traverse thru flat, mushy sections.

Features: Full/Lowered apex rail, roll-single-double to accentuated vee/double out the tail.

Designed to hold rail in powerful waves and keep control in critical sections, yet  remain agile and nimble in smaller waves. Explodes in the pocket and drives through barrels.

The Dark Twinn is the Twin version of the Dark Series that was developed in parallel with its brother The Dark Horse (Quad Version). Designed as a high performance groveler, the Dark Twinn and the Dark Horse share an identical outline and core components for a majority of the design but shift the wing placements to engage the wing-to-fin relationship and accent how the board performs in that fin specific configuration. The Dark Twinn combines Ben Aipa's Wing Twin template, used to make Dane Kealoha’s twins in the late 70’s and a 90's Swing Twin squash template that has been modified for today's surfer. 

Featuring, Mid range rockers, lowered rail apex line, and staged bottom contour blending a roll from nose down into a single concave under forward foot, to double concave deepest between the forward fins, transitioning to a healthy amount of vee/double starting at the wing and blending out thru the tail. The Dark Twinn is a lively and responsive board. Proven from Pismo Beach mush to juicy Hawaiian surf.
